The chickens that we raise are called “roasters”. They average 6-8lbs and are a good size to feed our family of 6. We often will roast a chicken and use the meat to make chicken caesar wraps or bacon chicken ranch wraps for school lunches! It also makes a great roasted chicken dinner, or chicken noodle soup!
